Worth a try. Really delicious food and nice atmosphere.
Very delicious sushi for a decent price even as it is in a very touristy location.
Ramen noodles are delicious~ It's just that the barbecued pork is a bit fishy High CP~
A recommendable Japanese :-)
Japanese food culture perfectly presented. Great drinks, food excellent. An experience.
Worst experience with the service. Not child friendly. Although there was enough space, they suggested I have take-away meals. Then I should look for a place to eat outside with the children. And when I asked that we eat and go quickly, they even got aggressive. Have asked do not disturb. Really, very disappointed. Never again. Parents, please think about it if you are traveling with children and want to eat something. The children are more of a nuisance than welcome.
... original Japanese cuisine ... very friendly service ... just great ...
This is hands down the most authentic Japanese kitchen you can go to. The owner is from Kobe Japan and started this restaurant in Munich 17 years ago. They served the most delicious waygu beef and shrimp that you can imagine. The portions are small and they are asking premium for it. So make sure to choose it for the right occasions, not after a football practice with your buddies. Dates are fine as they serve a limited Sortiments of white and red wines
We have been here several times now. We keep coming back and back because the food is just so good! Especially the Wagyu Ramen and the accompanying presentation with the Bunsen burner was awesome!
I went to eat sushi and it was very delicious. We eat a lot of sushi plates for 2 people, so we were full, so the amount was enough. There were two shop assistants, both of whom were able to speak Japanese. I was able to respond very politely. Payment was Maestro available. The toilet was on the second floor of Japanese style, and there were two private rooms for women. There were a few seats outside, a few on the first floor, and many on the second floor. I went for lunch on Friday and I was able to enter the store smoothly. Please note that the sunshade for the outside seats makes it impossible for you to see the store name. Great sushi place with a resonable price. Both the staffs were polite and very friendly. Restrooms on the upper floor. Well cleaned. Sun shade prepared for outside seating.
Very friendly and helpful. Great food.
Excellent ramen and good value for money
Food is delicious! Really recommendable.
All waiters are japanese and (although another review mentioned it being run by vietnamese. I found out that) it is run by Ayame gmbh which is run by a japanese called Kenji Oya. So everything seems really authentic japanese. Apparently also got and award for "authentic japanese restaurant". But more importantly, although it does not come cheep (or maybe because of that), the food is great and the also offer japanese beer and drinks like チュウハイ.
Best ramen in town
The service was excellent, super friendly and courteous. We were not sure about the starters and received great recommendations. The food itself is super appetizing and the taste is excellent. This is our new spot in Munich. Simply TOP.
Reserving is difficult. Once we were sitting at a table at 5 p.m., when a sign was suddenly put in front of us that the table was reserved from 6 p.m.
good ramen! :)
I visited with children, but it was very easy to enter. The food was at a Japanese level and it was very delicious. The atmosphere of the shop was very good. Many times I told my child that I had come back to Japan to feel the feeling of returning to Japan.
The best ramen I've ever had in Munich so far
Great food and service
The food is delicious and flavors are really Japanese! Not that south Asia/Western flavor in food. Service is great as well and staff speak English, Japanese and German.
Cosy place. Friendly staff
Quiet corner shop serving good Japanese dishes. Lots of tables upstairs.
I ate ramen although I don't like mushrooms It was very good the sushi was also very good and not expensive
Liked the food taste and ambience here. The service was a bit slow even though it wasn't crowded, but the wait was worth-while. Not many options for vegetarians but they have some amazing authentic Japanese dishes. Their Bento Boxes are ideal for a quick and filling lunch, you get a taste of everything typical Japanese.
Authentic japanese restaurant in Munich ( run by japanese people ) quite expensive, taste quite ok, sunday they’re still Open thats why we go here
Cozy and neat
Great food, wonderful service! Best Japanese restaurant I have visited so far in Munich
Waiter made a mistake and brought out an extra bowl of ramen. When we made him bring it back he wasn't happy. Ended up he charged our 2 hot water as distilled water - 3 Euros each. Such blatant dishonesty. Pls avoid this place.
Delicious Fire Ramen (\m/) and all around great dining experience. Down to earth, very tasty.
☺︎ which received many special dishes It is wonderful that appetizing beautiful dishes come out at the best timing. Ryuuishi hospitality professionals .... This kind of Japanese food rarely goes to eat in Japan, so I was able to chew the happiness I can eat in Germany ♪
service good. food not dilecious, price a little high. will never oder the chicken rice ?
Brother, everyone says that the service is bad (laughs). Finally, I was glad to hear the message “Thank you from a distance, please come again”. It wasn't a very long wait. My daughter asked me for a fork because she couldn't use chopsticks. Do you demand royal-class service? How about Matsuhisa Munich? I came here because I wanted to eat food that Japanese people eat in Japan. The price was prepared because it was overseas. Ramen may be the best I ate overseas! The best fried chicken! The ingredients were the best, but the older brother, the quality of the rice, the Japanese can't lose it (laughs). I hope you can use better rice.
Great ramen
Quite pricy, but also very good food. Feel like you get rushed, since it's a busy place with not a lot of seats. Accept credit cards.
Friendly Japanese staff. The food is amazing and the overall service is great. Also it is at a great location.
Thr food always amazing ??
Authentic Japanese food in Munich city center.
Great authentic Japanese food
It used to be the best sushi restaurant. Now our nearby supermarket makes them better. Really sorry to lose such a great place!
Awful sushi, tap water for 3 eu
Awesome food
Best Japanese in Munich. Quaint place in the heart of Munich!
Unpretentious little place smack in the centre of Altstadt Mūnchen. Not being an expert on Japanese food I can only say that the 'beef bbq don' plate tasted delicious. Services were typically polite and priced rather on the expensive side as is to be expected for the location.
In the following review is of course taken into account that we are at the Platzl in Munich! I was most interested in the ramen but I also thought I would try the sushi. Unagi is often very strong for me and the ordered Unagi nigiri was boring ?. The ramen soup so the broth was ok but for my taste for a tonkotsu very very mild, but well! But the chashu was tough and tough! I've never had such a harsh chashu that was a shame. The portion, of course, very small and only or even no matter just a slice of meat here. (I had 2 because my partner did not want her) But also did not feel like doing more. The ramen noodles were good and due to the unevenness let us conclude that they are homemade. Therefore and because of the nice service 2 stars. Repetition hazard 0%.
Very slow service and orders lost. Staff is telling they are very stressfull and can not serve. They serve first the terrace customers, even if we came in earlier. To get the drinks it took more than 30 minutes.
It is a very good shushi restaurant, we know it for more then 8 years now. Great sashimi, udon and a good choice of Japanese traditional dishes. The food is very good, fresh and of course it can be combined with great German beer. The staff is friendly. We always love to go back!
Nice food, but a bit expensive..
The place is nice, service is quick and the raw fish is really good. Good prices for being in the center of Munich.
